View from the car park at West Kilbride station in February 1963. The solitary vehicle visible in the car park is [thanks to Ken Strachan] a Humber Super Snipe, 'containing more steel in its front bumper alone than can be found in many of today's cars'. Additional period touches are provided by the car's spotlights, AA badge and wing mirrors. [Editors note: The building was demolished after the body of a murdered woman was found in it in 1995.] [With thanks to Colin Miller]
