A May 2012 Sunday evening at Brough sees Hull Trains Adelante unit 180111 call on a service bound for Kings Cross. During the same week the nearby aircraft factory received the welcome news of a new contract for Hawk jets from Saudi Arabia. Brough station dates from 1840 and trains formerly ran on both sides of the two island platforms.
