BR Standard class 4 no 75027 at Upperby in August 1967, almost eight months after the shed had closed. Contrary to appearances, the locomotive is in store, rather than dumped, and would subsequently move to Carnforth, seeing out the end of steam there in August 1968. Stanier 8F no 48400, nominally allocated to Carnforth but actually in store at 12B, also survived until the end of steam, in this case at Rose Grove shed.
