Woodacre Crossing
Former Royal Train locomotive 47798 Prince William was given to the National Railway Museum by EWS in 2004 but retained its main line status and made occasional forays from the NRM. Currently however it is in full main line use with West Coast Railways and seen here passing Woodacre on 6 August with the southbound Mersey Moorlander, which it had taken over at Carnforth from Black 5 45305. 47580 in Stratford Jubilee livery brought up the rear.
