Blackpool North
Although very busy with overnight servicing the Blackpool North carriage sidings are usually empty during the day time. However, the Christmas closedown of the network means that for two days trains are stabled there. This was the scene on Boxing Day 2012 when many units of classes 142, 150, 156, 158 and 185 were present under a threatening sky.
