Every Sunday in January, trains from Birmingham to Derby have been diverted via the Nuneaton flyover and Leicester. This Voyager had left Birmingham at 16.12, heading for Edinburgh. The spoil heap in the right background is part of Judkins' quarry - which contributed, along with local collieries and brickworks, to a surprisingly large network of standard and narrow-gauge industrial lines around the town. Most were lifted in the 1960's, and are now hard to trace. There were also a number of tramroads in the area. Network Rail - reinstated Leicester-Birmingham flyover line
