Carlisle
The Carlisle New Yard to Chirk logs train rumbles through Platform 4 of Citadel station on 25 February behind Colas Rail 66850. The smell of newly cut wood lingered under the overall roof for a long time after this lengthy train had passed. An Ayrshire bound coal empties train stands in Platform 3 waiting for a northbound path.
