Nuneaton
South to Glasgow! This Birmingham - Glasgow Voyager was diverted via Nuneaton and Leicester instead of its normal route north of Birmingham. As it passed through platform 7 non-stop - an unusual move even for freight trains - the young lady behind the second pillar had very wisely stepped away from the platform edge. The industrial buildings on the right are built on an area formerly used for sidings. Network Rail - reinstated Leicester-Birmingham flyover line
