Terreiro da Luta
The Monte rack railway in Madeira opened in 1893 and was extended to Terreiro da Luta (alt. 850m) in 1912 but closed in 1943. The Swiss Chalet styled station building lives on however as a restaurant. It was closed on this occasion so no photo of the front of the building but Google images show that trains terminated below the gothic tower. See image 24668 for an interior view.
