A DMU railtour visits the site of the former M & GN station at South Lynn on 29th March 1980, some 21 years after closure to passengers. A spur from the GE main line was then still open to serve a nearby sugar factory. View is west under Saddlebow road. Just out of sight to the right were the remains of the eastern tip of the main island platform, the rest buried by the filling in of the original road bridge and the creation of an elevated junction with the A47.
