Kippford Quarries
Looking along 'Quarry Road', Kippford, on the River Urr near Dalbeattie. It is the line of a tramway which ran from the quarry to a stone-built pier. It was a balanced rope incline with the empties being pulled up by the weight of the loaded tubs.
