Esk Valley Junction
Looking north east towards the site of Esk Valley Junction in June 2013, more than 46 years after the last train passed through. The embankment on the right carried the Peebles loop between Bonnyrigg and Eskbank, closed in 1967. The route straight ahead brought in the Esk Valley branch from Polton see image 7418, closed 3 years earlier. Both former routes are now walkways.
