Carlisle
On 4th September 1976 Carlisle Diesel Depot hosted an open day, although whether ex-works 47141 had been stabled in a prominent position for the benefit of enthusiasts arriving by train I cannot say. With the station clock showing just after 11.30, the morning Leeds to Glasgow train waits to continue its journey northwards.
