Ipswich Lower Yard
A Ruston & Hornsby 48DS sits abandoned and rusty in a disused siding alongside the former Ipswich Princes Street maltings of R & W Paul Ltd in January 1983. Judging by its very poor condition, the loco had been idle for many years, probably since the maltings closed in the 1970s. The distant building to the right of the buffer beam is Ipswich station.
