The Great Escape - Roxburgh Viaduct 2013... not quite! Attempts to recreate the 1968 BMcC photograph (see image 17963) were thwarted due to vegetation now blocking the view from the other end of the viaduct. This version looks east over the Teviot towards Kelso. Just north of here is a famous junction - nothing to do with railways, but much loved by salmon fishermen. Note the footbridge below.
