Cornbrook
Only a few 1st generation trams remained in service on Metrolink in the summer of 2013 and just down the line from Cornbrook, at Trafford Depot, there were long lines of tramcars awaiting disposal. The original Cornbrook station was on the adjacent Altrincham line and closed in 1965 whereas the Metrolink line uses the old CLC/Midland line from Manchester Central. 1009 heads for the city centre.
