Les Avants
The Sonloup Funicular is far from the longest or steepest in Switzerland but still worth the scenic trip. This view from a descending car at the half way loop looks down to Les Avants station and the tunnel on the MOB main line. See image 46170 The cars, both of which are attached to baggage/ski trailers, had just been readied for the winter season and had an overpowering smell of fresh varnish in the wooden interiors.
