Hyde Park Works [2nd]
My father, James Crawford, began his long career at North British Locomotives in Springburn, Glasgow. This is one of the photographs he took of a locomotive under construction at the works. He went on to work on electrical and mechanical projects worldwide. I have no doubt that his memories of NBL influenced my own interest in railways. It is with regret that we announce his death on the 26th of October. Ewan Crawford
