Crewe South Shed
The busy shed yard at Crewe South plays host to Stanier 2-6-0 no 42963 in October 1961, having been reallocated there from Crewe North a month earlier. The locomotive ended its days at Springs Branch, Wigan, from where it was eventually withdrawn in July 1966. 42963 was cut up at Drapers of Hull in January 1967 see image 21784.
