Gresley A4 60019 Bittern prepares to leave Glasgow's Buchanan Street station on 3 September 1966 with the last BR scheduled A4 hauled service to Aberdeen. The special had been arranged to mark the end of the swansong years of the A4 Pacifics on the 3-hour expresses.
