Ex-Caledonian McIntosh 2P 0-4-4T 55221 (or most of it) stands in a siding alongside Corkerhill shed in a photograph thought to have been taken in 1961, the year of its withdrawal. Prior to its arrival at Corkerhill the 1914 veteran had spent 8 years based at Keith shed, wher e it was a regular performer on the Banff branch. 55221 was eventually cut up at Connells of Coatbridge in September 1963.
