Carlisle
The previous occasion on which I had seen Castle class No. 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe had been back in the early 1970s at Barry scrapyard so I had never thought it would one day be seen steaming into Carlisle - but here it is on 20th June 2009 entering platform 3 there on the Castle over Shap tour from Tyseley, which it worked from Crewe.
