Smartly turned out WCRC Brush Type 4 brings a Statesman charter south over the old layout at Balshaw Lane Junction on 4 August 2012. A year later and the layout had changed with the complete replacement of the junction. See image 43861 taken from the same viewpoint during the engineering possession.
