Borwick
Back on the main line after an extensive overhaul is EE Class 40 40145. Scheduled to haul its first excursion on 7th June 2014 (Rawtenstall to Oxford) it was sent to Carnforth the day before to collect the stock and a number of enthusiasts paid to travel back to Bury on a circuitous route behind the gleaming veteran, seen here passing the closed station at Borwick just after leaving Carnforth.
