Another exhibit from Welland see image 48186 is Fowler 3930044 - a 3 foot gauge 0-4-0 from 1950. It was one of 47 made to this design, with just 5 sold in Britain. It produces a mere 40bhp from its Marshall diesel engine, but is rated to pull 190 tons. It was restored in 2014 and has a certain angular charm.
