J21 0-6-0 65033 about to run past the 1891 LNER water tower at Newcastle Central on 7 May 1960. The locomotive (which pre-dates the water tower by two years) was heading for Darlington to pick up the RCTS/SDLS J21 Rail Tour (also referred to as the Stainmore Special) see image 36091.
