Ribble Steam Railway Museum
The loan agreement between the NRM and RSR allows DELTIC to be occasionally opened for escorted footplate and engine room tours. The driver and second man positions are seen here although the sixty year old red leather seats have to remain covered. On the drivers side are the power handle, loco air brake (minus handle) and train vacuum brake controls. To the right are the main handbrake, train heating boiler and water scoop controls. DELTIC is likely to remain in Preston until sometime in 2015.
