Ramsbottom
Whilst old DMUs can get a bit smoky this picture is unfair to the ELR Met-Cam set because it hides K4 61994 that had just pulled in to Ramsbottom behind it. The date is 13th December 2008 and the DMU was being used between Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall connecting with the Santa Specials from Bury. See image 25767 taken from almost the same spot in 1981 to see the transformation achieved by the ELR.
