Manchester Victoria
Almost like the old days. 2014 saw the return of the Liverpool Newcastle services to Manchester Victoria after many years of running through Piccadilly. TPE 185101 approaches the west end of Platform 3 at Victoria. This is the truncated platform that used to continue all the way through to Manchester Exchange until 1969. The train will climb Platting bank before turning right to pick up the Standedge route through Ashton-under-Lyne.
