Hest Bank
In the gathering gloom at dusk on the shortest day of 2014, Freightliner 66545 takes a train of empty coal hoppers north alongside the shore at Hest Bank. The postal train that should have passed at this time was running twenty minutes late, by which time all remaining light had gone.
