The station at Glenside stood at the entrance to Culzean Castle, seat of the Marquis of Ailsa, and he had his own private waiting room. Nothing remains of the passenger station or of any buildings, but the loading bank can still be found in the adjacent caravan park. Naturally the goods yard was level, while the single main line descended at 1/100 on the west side of the layout. See image 6744
