Dunnington
J72 0-6-0T 69023 at Dunnington station after a run along the line from York Layerthorpe in 1978. This view was taken from the old level crossing as the line had once continued to Wheldrake and Cliffe Common. The DVLR operated summer steam trains with Joem from 1977 to 1979. The last freight train to Dunnington ran in 1981 following which all DVLR operations ceased and the line was lifted.
