Turning left from the view of the signal box see image 33437, the platform wall on the right seems to be all that remains of Penar Junction Halt on the Pontypool to Neath line in May 2010. The trackbed is well kept some 50 years after closure. This must be one of the few accessible trackbeds in Wales which I have not covered!
