Broxburn Viaduct
A late afternoon Queen Street to Waverley push-pull working (the rear class 27 is hidden by the trees) crosses the Broxburn Viaduct, which these days takes the E&G over the A89 road. Back in 1972, when this photograph was taken and before the construction of the M8 motorway, it rejoiced in the status of the A8 trunk road. Thought to have been taken in early April 1972.
