Oakbank Oil Works
Located near Midcalder Junction, the large shale bing associated with the Oakbank Oil Works was often referred to as 'Contentibus Bing'. In June 1984 it was in the process of being reclaimed for motorway construction with rail being the means of delivery. The entrance to the siding can just be made out in the right background.
