Kirchenlaibach
DB Class 50 2-10-0 No. 050 674 comes off shed at Kirchenlaibach early on a Sunday afternoon in August 1974. Kirchenlaibach is a junction station to the south-east of Bayreuth in northern Bavaria at the intersection of the Weiden - Bayreuth and Nuernberg - Marktredwitz (-Cheb) lines. In 1974 it still had a substantial allocation of class 50s for local freight work, but this being a Sunday it seems more likely that its next duty will be a local passenger working.
