Only 52 arches of the 82 in Welland viaduct can be seen in this view looking South-East, but it's still mighty impressive. Seaton station, from which a branch to Uppingham and a cross country route to Peterborough diverged to the left of this view, can be seen in the foreground. The awning and footbridge are still standing. Harringworth station - named for a village on the far side of the viaduct in this view - was to the right (South).
