Durham Gilesgate
Inside Durham Gilesgate Station in May 2015. Architect G T Andrews would perhaps approve of the restoration work. Leaning on (and around) the bar are distinguished members of the North Eastern Railway Association, engaged in ernest historical research. (The management and staff of the restaurant were very welcoming and tolerant of the visiting eccentrics, notwithstanding that they were about to cater for a large wedding party.)
