Furth im Wald
A scene which happens just twice a day at the once-busy Furth im Wald station (close to the German-Czech border). The Czech Railways 09.06 train to Pilsen ( a 1981-vintage railcar) waits for its few passengers on 25th June, while in the background a modern Oberpfalzbahn unit is soon to depart at 09.05 - normally to Schwandorf on the Regensburg-Hof main line, but on this occasion only to Roding due to track works.
