Granite bridge over the trackbed of the Peterhead Quarry Railway at Lendrum Terrace, two and a half miles south of the Harbour and Prison at Peterhead. The line ran from Stirlinghall Quarry, south of this bridge to the Harbour of Refuge, carrying granite for the great breakwaters and convict labour to the quarry. The bridge, as other structures on the line, built to exacting Admiralty design standards and an example of exceptional craftsmanship - far above what would be expected of an 'industrial' railway.
