Nottingham Victoria

Never an easy location for a photograph, even on a bright and sunny day, Nottingham Victoria in rain and mist presented something of a challenge. Saturday 30 March 1963 was such a day, with unrebuilt Battle of Britain Pacific 34054 Lord Beaverbrook adding to the atmosphere as it arrives through the murk with one of several inter-regional football excursions bringing fans from Southampton via the Great Central line.
