The MV Countess Fiona on the maintenance slipway at Balloch Pier. She was built by William Denny in 1936 and was originally the Countess of Breadalbane operating on Loch Awe, moved overland to Loch Fyne in 1952, renamed Countess of Kempock in 1971 and finally became MV Countess Fiona when moved to Loch Lomond in 1982. Her back was broken by a derailment caused by vandals and she was scrapped on site in 1999 after lying derelict for several years. The view is from the railway pier.
