Preston (Ribble Branch)
DP1 Deltic is to return to the National Railway Museum at Shildon for the Deltic 60th event on 24th October 2015 but prior to doing so made a final appearance at the RSR Diesel Gala running into the station at the head of a rake of MkI stock. The plume of exhaust at the rear of the train is the giveaway that of course it was being propelled but it made a fine sight.
