Station staff members Barry Limbert and Elaine Phillips with the restored Hood's Well at Port Glasgow Station. The public fountain dates from 1843 when James Hood, the first stationmaster at Port Glasgow (opened 1841), retired - this being his choice of retirement gift. The well was re-discovered during vegetation clearance in 2001.
