Loch Awe
Loch Awe Hotel, perched above Loch Awe station, viewed across - you guessed it - Loch Awe. The former 'tea train', now accommodation, can be seen at the station site. The steamer pier was immediately off to the right. Breadalbane, who did so much to promote the railway, was also behind the development of this hotel. A (somewhat ugly) luggage lift formerly linked the station to the hotel.
