Carlisle Canal Shed
70016 Ariel stabled in the shed yard at Carlisle Canal on 23 September 1961, shortly after being reallocated here from Cardiff Canton. The Britannia Pacific spent approximately 8 months operating from Canal shed before moving on to Longsight, Manchester, in May 1962.
