Chinley North Junction
A Swindon Inter City Class 123 takes the Hope Valley route through Chinley North Junction in 1978. These sets had been made redundant on the Western Region the previous year and were transferred to Hull Botanic Gardens to work turn about with the similar Trans-Pennine sets. Final withdrawal and scrapping came in 1984.
