Leyland
A Blackpool to Manchester service calls at Leyland in the late afternoon of 21 December 2015. Of note on the platforms is the appearance of equipment huts on each platform for the lifts that are being installed along with new footbridge. All three lift towers have started to be constructed using a series of prefabricated concrete sections, the remainder of them remain in the station car park. The bridges and steps are scheduled to be craned in on Christmas and Boxing days whilst the lines are closed.
