Alyth Junction
In 1996 Alyth Junction station remained virtually intact save for the absence of the main station buildings. The Alyth branch platform (to the left) and the mainline platforms are obvious in this view. The through Alyth-Newtyle platform was even further to the left. View looks towards Aberdeen. Note, on the right, the distinct step up from low (nearer) to higher platform. See image 9200.
