The back of the waiting shelter at Ordens Halt was painted with the name of the station - here the 'O' and 'den' parts can still be made out in remaining timbers in 1997. The halt had a checkered history and finally closed in 1920. This was the first halt out of Tillynaught on the line to Banff. The hut has since been removed (or collapsed out of sight!)
